Ingredients:

2 cups whole milk

2 cups water

1 Cup Farmview stone ground grits

12 ounces pulled pork 

Barbecue sauce, to taste

2 Tablespoons butter

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 cup pickled jalapenos, drained and chopped

Directions:

  • In a large stock pot, combine milk and water and bring to a boil.
  • Slowly whisk in the grits. Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • While grits are cooking, place pulled pork and desired amount of barbecue sauce in a medium saucepan and heat through.
  • Once the grits are done, stir in the butter, cheese, and chopped jalapenos.
  • Pour grits into serving bowls and top with pulled pork
  • Sprinkle with toppings of your choice

Optional toppings:
- Sour cream
- Green onion
- Shredded cheese
- Fried onion
- Fried egg
