Tree Planting for Earth Day

On April 19, members of the Madison-Morgan County Boys and Girls Club, in collaboration with the Madison-Morgan Conservancy and Farmview Market, planted trees in honor of Earth Day (April 22nd).

The group planted 15 willow oaks, donated by the Georgia Forestry Commission, at Farmview Commons. Boys and Girls Club members also enjoyed ice cream in the Farmview café. This collaborative event was a great opportunity for our local youth to participate in outdoor learning activities.
