Soaps, Oils, Shower Bombs, Oh My!
This is a biography we don’t get to write often, and we love it! Rinse Bath and Body was created by Heather Swanepoel in 2002 when she was competing professionally on the Supercross Circuit. Yes, dirt biking! She needed a creative outlet to fill her time when it wasn’t racing season and started making soap as a hobby. (We must imagine getting dirty for a living and making soap in your spare time is a natural pairing!)
Heather fell in love with the process of making all-natural soaps and body care products and began giving them away to family and friends as gifts. They of course loved them, and the requests started pouring in for more. Heather then decided to turn her once creative outlet into a thriving small business.
Rinse Bath and Body is located downtown in Heather’s hometown of Monroe, Georgia. She owns a storefront there that employs a bevy of women who help her mix the soaps, moisturizers, and everything else right there while you shop. Rinse Bath and Body products are sold across the country now in shops and spas, and we are excited to carry them at Farmview Market as well.
Making soap was Heather’s first love, but she has since expanded to so many more amazing products. This includes her bestselling natural deodorant, roll-on essential oils, shower bombs, and even a lip-balm-type product for feet! One of her newest products are Soap Sticks, which are perfect for travel or days on the go.
One of our favorite things about Rinse Bath and Body are the creative scents and combinations. Beyond regular soap ingredients like tea tree oil, mint and floral additives, Heather’s team has come up with fun beer-inspired soaps like Blue Ribbon and Chocolate Stout, elegant wine soaps like Cabernet and Champagne, and calming tea soaps like Early Grey and Chamomile. Rinse makes seasonal and holiday soaps, too, and even old-time favorite soaps like one called CosmoPop—a red, white and blue bar that will remind you of days spent chasing down the ice cream truck!
Rinse Bath and Body products are a welcome addition to our line-up of natural care products at Farmview. They are hometown-made, artisan products that customers love, and we are proud to support!
