Jam of Love
Emily G’s Jam of Love began as a small-batch gourmet jam company with four delicious flavors selling out each week at the local Atlanta farmers markets. When loyal customer Jennifer Burns learned the classically trained chef-owner of Emily G’s was interested in selling the company, she jumped at the opportunity to buy it.
Since then, the company has grown to include 18 flavors and has been featured in Bon Appetit, The Wall Street Journal, and Martha Stewart Weddings, as well as popping up on The Cooking Channel a few times! New owner Jennifer Burns says it’s all due to a straightforward and humble mission that has remained true from the beginning: We do everything for the love of food. We believe that what we eat should be prepared simply and naturally with the best ingredients available.
“Jam fans”—as Burns affectionately calls them—clearly agree. The Georgia Grown company has won awards across the Southeast, including a Flavor of Georgia award for the Pear Honey Jam.
Emily G’s jam offerings change seasonally in keeping with their commitment to offer products that use fresh and local ingredients. But even the classic flavors that are available year-round are anything but ordinary. The Peach Marmalade is sourced from peaches right here in the Peach State (GA), but also includes oranges and ginger for a bright and citrusy finish.
Burns encourages customers to use her jams creatively beyond just a yummy spread for toast. The Jalapeño Raspberry Jam is a spicy hit over cream cheese, and the Triple Berry Jam is a great addition to create an indulgent smoothie.

Recently Emily G’s has begun adding sauces to their product line-up. The Pepper Vinegar Sauce is based on Burns’ grandmother’s original recipe and quickly became a top seller with the perfect combination of jalapeños, habaneros, onions and garlic. Customers rave about the delicious kick it gives to both meats and vegetables.
Making Emily G’s Jam of Love so successful has ultimately become a family affair. Burns’ husband and four daughters all lend their talents to marketing, sales, and testing new flavors. Burns herself has a passion for fresh, healthy cooking and creates innovative new uses for her jams beyond breakfast. Favorite recipes from her website include Herb-Roasted Cherry Tomatoes with Roasted Red Pepper Jam, Jammin’ Avocado Crab Rolls with Tipsy Onion & Garlic Jam, and Roast Chicken with Spicy Citrus Pork Glaze made with Datil Peach Marmalade.
