Farmview Market invited you to our 4th Annual Ag Fest – a celebration of local agriculture, the farmers behind it, and the community that brings it all to life. Join us for a full day of family-friendly fun rooted in the things that matter most: good food, rich community ties, and a deep appreciation for where it all comes from.
This FREE community festival highlights the role of agriculture in our region while offering interactive experiences, food samplings, live demonstrations, and so much more.
This year's Ag Fest features hayrides through the history of Georgia Agriculture, a petting zoo, live music, lawn games, face painting, crafts for kids, a Watermelon Eating Contest at 11AM and 1PM, and a Suppliers Sampling Punch Card to taste your way through the best of what local farms have to offer. Browse the Farmers Market, spin the wheel at the Welcome Table, and enjoy fresh donuts and beignets from Café du Papa.
Event Highlights:
- Farmview Open Air Farmers Market (9AM–2PM) - Browse local vendors and shop for fresh, Georgia-grown produce and products.
- Welcome Table - Stop by when you arrive to pick up your Supplier Sampling Punch Card, spin the wheel for 1 DAY ONLY savings, and stickers for the kids.
- Wildlife Demonstrations
- Live Music - Enjoy live tunes while you stroll, snack, and soak in the sunshine. From 9AM to 11AM, you can hear from local musician Andy Liechty. Then, enjoy the sound of summer with Allison Fabella from 12PM to 2PM.
- Hayride: “The History of Georgia Agriculture” - Hop on and take a ride through the history of Georgia Agriculture – from its roots to the community it’s become today. A fun way to learn a little and see a lot!
- Watermelon Eating Contest (11AM + 1PM) - Think you’ve got what it takes? Sign up at the Welcome Table for chance to compete and win a Farmview Market gift card.
- Lawn Games & Activities - Take a break and play! The lawn has something for everyone from Peach Tic-Tac-Toe, Jenga, jump ropes, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and more. Perfect for kids of all ages.
- Face Painting - Done by the students of the Morgan County High School Cosmetology Class, you & your little ones can get a variety of (FREE) face paintings.
- Crafts for Farm Kids - Hands-on farm-themed activities and DIY fun.
- Mobile Petting Zoo - Presented by Apalachee Farms (9AM–2PM) Say hello to goats, sheep, and more!
- Café du Papa Donut & Beignet Truck - Treat yourself to fresh-made donuts and beignets.
