Early fall allows us to hang on to the warm summer days and slightly longer summer nights until crisper air and cooler temps officially set in. With cooler weather just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to indulge and practice for some of our holiday favorites.

Candied Bourbon Pecans make a fantastic festive snack, and our simple recipe will elevate your love of pecans to a whole new level. This easy recipe makes for a great snack around your home, the perfect gift for friends and family, or a fun snack to bring to football tailgates!

And, with only four ingredients and not even a half hour to complete, you’ll be out the door in no time. To make this fun, fall treat you will need 2 pounds of chopped pecans, three ounces of bourbon, four ounces of water, and 16 ounces of sugar. To start, combine all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl, and toss until the ingredients are well combined.

After the ingredients are tossed and evenly coated, place on a cookie sheet tray. Roast the pecans at 450 degrees for 5-7 minutes. Remove the pecans from the oven and let them cool. If you are pressed for time, place the pecans in the refrigerator to speed the cooling process. This great recipe yields a generous amount of candied pecans, and makes a great snack for your group!
